Individual Assignment II : e-Commerce

Hi. I’d like to show all of you regarding the different types of e-commerce transaction and its architecture. I’ve chosen a B2C and a C2C transaction e-commerce to show the difference of the stated e-commerce. It’s also have  types of the component  their architecture.I’d like to highlited on e-commerce business that are related to business . For this assignment, I’ve chosen Lazada.com.my and Mudah.my.

As we know B2C (Business-to-Consumer) transaction e-commerce such as Lazada operates between the organization and buyers , they are individual . This e-commerce website also known as e-tailing. It was created for consumers service providers and channel for them to find a satisfactory needed package for their clients. Lazada is intuitive website interface which is very easy to use. There are no fancy and complicated buttons on the interface. The things that are displayed on the website are just the things that are needed to make online shopping a very worthwhile experience.

On the other hand, a B2C (Business-to-Consumer) transaction like Lazada Malaysia is part of Lazada Group which operates Southeast Asia’s number one online shopping and selling destination in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Pioneering eCommerce in the region, Lazada provides customers with an effortless shopping experience and retailers with simple and direct access to the largest customer base in Southeast Asia.

Now let’s move on to e-commerce architecture of Mudah.my website. As you can see on the pictures above, these two e-commerce business provide search processes mechanism/interface to help customers find the specific product and service they want. Mudah.my is one of example (C2C) Consumer-to-Consumer. It is a business model that facilitates the transaction of products or services between customers. It is one of four categories of e-commerce.

The same concept between B2C and C2C are sells product or services to other individuals. Moreover, both of the web developer of these business used catalog management software along with collaboration and trading component into the website. Consequently, all of these component are essential to support arrangements and trading services between clients, service provider and other stakeholder.

Access control and security on both of the websites have establish mutual trust and secure access by using login ID and password as for those who want to access Lazada.com.my and Mudah.my. It is to protect personal data like banking. One way these e-commerce website made a secure access is confirm the user from any camouflage.

The search management of these website also almost same. Like Lazada.com has many choices at the left website for all of ages. Content management, catalog management and payment also immaculately maintained.

For conclusion,  I prefer Lazada.com.my,website because such kind of e-commerce transaction geared toward consumer rather than Mudah.my  which had responsibilities for the user, intellectual property, privacy, cookies and others. Nevertheless, these two e-commerce websites are types of e-commerce of business transaction model.Thank you!!

1. Microsoft PowerPoint

PowerPoint is a highly innovative and versatile program that can ensure a successful communication whether  presenting in front of potential investors, a lecture theatre or simply in front of colleagues. Depending on wherewe will be presenting, we may be asked to transform our presentation into PowerPoint’s format as a condition of speaking. Luckily, learning PowerPoint is easy because of how popular it is. There are tons of tutorials, including for converting between different types of presentation software and PowerPoint.

There are also far more assets (like industry-specific templates and even designers willing to put together your presentation) for PowerPoint than other presentation software. Whether or not you’re personally a fan of PowerPoint, it’s still considered the standard presentation software. You have to be familiar with it, even if you rely on other presentation software most of the time. Below are five features you should be using – if you aren't already. Learn everything about these tips: they will improve presentation skills and allow to communicate  message successfully.

1) Adding Smart Art

Don’t confuse SmartArt with the similarly named WordArt. Where WordArt just allows our work to display text using a wide variety of different formats and effects, SmartArt is a comprehensive and flexible business diagram tool that greatly improves upon the ‘Diagram Gallery’ feature found in previous versions of Office. Click the insert SmartChart Graphic to choose from a selection of options.

SmartArt can be used to create professional diagrams that include pictures and text or combinations of the two. An obvious use of SmartArt would be to create an organization chart but it can be used for many different kinds of diagrams and even to provide some variety to slides using text bullet points.

2) Inserting Shapes

If we need to include some sort of diagram in presentation, then the quickest and easiest way is probably to use SmartArt. However, it is important to be able to include shapes independently of SmartArt and worth being familiar with the various Drawing Tool format options.

But they can also be applied to objects on a slide that might not immediately think of as shapes, not only will they be useful if do need to manually draw a diagram (and SmartArt doesn’t suit all diagrams). For example the box that contains  slide title or content. This can be anything from text to a video, or even the individual shapes in a SmartArt diagram.

Just click in  slide to insert a default version of the shape or, to set a particular size and position, click and drag with the mouse to create the shape and size that want.  As you can see, the gallery of available shapes is very extensive.

3) Inserting an Image

Here are two content type icons which appear in new content Placeholders for inserting pictures. We can Insert Picture from File or Insert Clip Art. Insert Picture from File allows to browse to an image file saved somewhere on our system whereas Clip Art is held in an indexed gallery of different media types. Clip Art is not limited to pictures: ‘The Results should be:’ box lets choose between: ‘All media file types’ and one or more of the following different types:
-Illustrations
-Photographs
-Video
-Audio
Once we have found the image what we want to use, click on it to insert it into the current slide. We can now re-size and move the image accordingly with further editting options available when right click the desired image.

In addition, PowerPoint 2010 has a new ‘Screenshot’ option that allows you to capture an entire window or part of a window for inclusion on a slide. You can also copy any image and just paste it directly to a slide. Alternatively, the Illustrations group of the Insert ribbon tab includes the same two tools.

2.Powtoon

What is a Powtoon? Powtoon is a presentation software that being famous among students and lectures. It is also alternative way to present material such as slide, video, and others. The application is focused on both ease of use and quality of the output. Users can easily put together professional quality presentations in a fraction of the time, and at a fraction of the price typically charged by animators or design studios. It is also engaging, fun and different. Futhermore, web-based, can be downloaded.

Differences between PowerPoint VS Powtoon

PowerPoint
Powtoon
Advantages
  •          easy to create colorful, attractive designs using the standard templates and themes; easy to modify compared to other visual aids, such as charts, and easy to drag and drop slides to re-order presentation.
  •           easy to present and maintain eye contact with a large audience by simply advancing the slides with a keystroke, eliminating the need for handouts to follow the message.

  •           Create a personal narrative, publish to youtube.
  •           a good aspect of powtoon is that it let people to present an attractive presentation without letting to get sleep the audience.
  •        it makes people have an interest in the product are proposing.

Disadvantages
  •            speakers create slides so they have something to present rather than outlining, organizing, and focusing on their message.
  •           the linear nature of PowerPoint slides forces the presenter to reduce complex subjects to a set of bullet items which are too weak to support decision-making or show the complexity of an issue.
  •           basic equipment required to present. You will need to have a computer and projection equipment in place to display the slides to the audience.

  •             Takes time to learn to create new videos
  •            Some features are not so intuitive
  •           Powtoon is still developing (launched in 2012)
  •          Cannot convert directly from Powerpoint

So, Which Presentation Software Should You Choose? PowerPoint Or Powtoon?

Whether you select PowerPoint or Powtoon , you need to continuously practice your presentation skills for best results. PowerPoint and Powtoon both have their place. PowerPoint has some great advantages for the average business presenter, while Powtoon has a few great benefits if you want to create a more interactive presentation.

Whatever tool you select, take the time to master and use it to create dazzling, rather than dull, presentations. The other important point to make is that if your story is poor, neither tool with help you! At the end of the day both of these programs are just tools. Whichever tool you choose, it will only add value to your presentation if it helps you to tell YOUR STORY. If you have a strong story and want to express complex ideas simply linked to your message with a memorable visual they will help you.

My Recommendation …

If you have limited time and need to display ideas, facts, and figures in a simple way I most often recommend sticking with PowerPoint. However, if you have the time to learn a new software and really want to create an interactive experience for your audience that has a strong “wow” factor you MIGHT want to consider using Powtoon .

Most people equate PowerPoint with tired bullet points and cheesy clipart because that is all they are used to. This BORING format is what people have been taught in school, and most people don’t understand the full potential of PowerPoint.

The good thing is that the secrets to designing can easily be learned. If you want to unlock the true potential of PowerPoint and learn how to design exciting slides, that will get any audience PUMPED and ready for action, you should check out my personally written eBook, Slides Made Simple. This book will teach you everything you need to know in order to create exciting presentations, stand out from the crowd, and get your audience to say “YES!” It’s full of HUNDREDS of tips and resources that will get you creating exciting persuasive presentations in PowerPoint or Keynote.

I personally prefer to use PowerPoint for my presentations because most of my friends know how to use PowerPoint and can make minor changes themselves if they want later on. The biggest problem I see with PowerPoint is that most people really don’t understand how to create a fun and dynamic presentation. In other words, it’s not PowerPoint that is the problem, but instead the presenter creating the PowerPoint.

From this assignment I learn …..

What I had learn from this assignment which is I know many more types of presentation software such as PowerPoint, Prezi, Slideshare, Powtoon, Open Office Impress, Apple Keynote, Photoshop and othes when I do research from internet. From that we know our technology are develop which is many product of presentation software have been discover.

Many of differences between PowerPoint and Powtoon which is PowerPoint is easy to create colorful, attractive designs using the standard templates and themes. It is easy to modify compared to other visual aids, such as charts, and easy to drag and drop slides to re-order presentation meanwhile Powtoon  can create a personal narrative and publish to youtube. It also a good aspect of powtoon is that it let people to present an attractive presentation without letting to get sleep the audience.

As we know the linear nature of PowerPoint slides forces the presenter to reduce complex subjects to a set of bullet items which are too weak to support decision-making or show the complexity of an issue. It is a few disadvantage of PowerPoint. Lets look to Powtoon  where is takes time to learn to create new videos because its new and had to learn from toturial.

I think every product that is created has its own advantages and something different from the other products. It is up to ourselves to choose which further facilitate and speed up our daily work. Both of presentation software that I choose have advantages and disadvantages of each and we must choose wisely.

Presentation Software

Image result for example of presentation software

presentation program is a software package used to display information in the form of a slide show. It has three major functions: an editor that allows text to be inserted and formatted, a method for inserting and manipulating graphic images, and a slide-show system to display the content. As we know this is important to us in works and more easier to using it.

When we are creating a presentation, it’s a given that we will be up in front of people with it. Our presentation needs to make you look good, no matter what. MICROSOFT

    1.0.        Introduction

1.1.         Company Background and Business Core

Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington, that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, customer electronics and personal computers and services. Its best known software products are the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and Internet Explorer and Edge web browsers. Its flagship hardware products are the Xbox game consoles and the Microsoft Surface tablet line up. It is the world's largest software maker by revenue, and one of the world's most valuable companies.

Microsoft was founded by Paul Allen and Bill Gates on 4 April 1975, to develop and sell BASIC interpreters for Altair 8800. It rose to dominate the personal computer operating system market with MS-DOS in the mid-1980s, followed by Microsoft Windows. The company's 1986 initial public offering, and subsequent rise in its share price, created three billionaires and an estimated 12,000 millionaires among Microsoft employees. Since the 1990s, it has increasingly diversified from the operating system market and has made a number of corporate acquisitions. In May 2011, Microsoft acquired Skype Technologies for $8.5 billion in its largest acquisition to date.

As of 2015, Microsoft is market dominant in both the IBM PC-compatible operating system (while it lost the majority of the overall operating system market to Android) and office software suite markets (the latter with Microsoft Office). The company also produces a wide range of other software for desktops and servers, and is active in areas including Internet search (with Bing), the video game industry (with the Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles), the digital services market (through MSN), and mobile phones (via the operating systems of Nokia's former phones and Windows Phone OS). In June 2012, Microsoft entered the personal computer production market for the first time, with the launch of the Microsoft Surface, a line of tablet computers.
With annual revenues of more than $32 billion, Microsoft Corporation is more than the largest software company in the world: it is a cultural phenomenon. The company's core business is based on developing, manufacturing, and licensing software products, including operating systems, server applications, business and customer applications, and software development tools, as well as Internet software, technologies, and services. Led by Bill Gates, the world's wealthiest individual and most famous businessman, Microsoft has succeeded in placing at least one of its products on virtually every personal computer in the world, setting industry standards and defining markets in the process.

    1.2.         Company Profile

Microsoft Corporation incorporated on September 22, 1993, is engaged in developing, licensing and supporting a range of software products and services. The Company also designs and sells hardware, and delivers online advertising to the customers. The Company operates in five segments: Devices and Customer (“D&C”) Licensing, D&C Hardware, D&C Other, Commercial Licensing, and Commercial Other. The Company’s products include operating systems for computing devices, servers, phones, and other intelligent devices; server applications for distributed computing environments; productivity applications; business solution applications; desktop and server management tools; software development tools; video games; and online advertising.
It also offers cloud-based solutions that provide customers with software, services, and content over the Internet by way of shared computing resources located in centralized data centers. It also designs and sells hardware, including PCs, tablets, gaming and entertainment consoles, phones, other intelligent devices, and related accessories. Cloud revenue is earned primarily from usage fees and advertising. Its cloud-based computing services include Bing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, Microsoft Office 365, One Drive, Skype, Xbox Live, and Yammer. In addition to selling individual products and services, the Company offers suites of products and services. It provides consulting and product and solution support services, and trains and certifies computer system integrators and developers. The Company does business worldwide and has offices in more than 100 countries.
    Figure 3: Microsoft products
Given its size, scale and degree of success, it was surprising for a company like Microsoft to attract criticism. 2007 was not a good year with the US Justice Department and the European Commission to take action against 'monopoly' business practices and media giggled about the victims of music, Zune, and annoyances in Vista while at the same time making noises ominous about an increase in disruptive competition from Google.
Nonetheless, Microsoft generates $51bn of revenue and continue to innovate, remain a top 10 investor in R & D worldwide. He has a track record of leading sector in obtaining a patent, maintaining sustained organic growth, employing 79,000 people in 102 countries and now utilizes the expertise and changing through acquisitions. If you look under the media noise, Microsoft remains one of the most significant investor in innovation in the world; one of which has a team of investigators to look out for longer than many peers and one that is very successful in monetising ideas. No surprise then that Microsoft's stock rose again by 20% in 2007. There was a time when you could argue that very few innovations Originated in Microsoft. The brilliance of the company is to roll them into the operating system and encourage Reviews their popularity. Mouse, standard tool bar and spreadsheets are all developed elsewhere first. They 'bundling' day, however, does not stand the test of time. Changes in the way technology works means that Microsoft start repairs fundamental business practices, to move the existing computing platform, which currently Resides on desktop PCs and servers, to the Internet.
Microsoft reacted positively to the challenge. That said, like other big companies, he has shaped the culture and entrenched interests, which means the spirit of Open Innovation does not come naturally. There is a need to move from the era of secrecy surrounding the software code for a word that is more open than socialization and collaboration. The threat of continued litigation and the obvious success of Google, IBM, and Sun Microsystems in encouraging others to build software and services that match Reviews their own, provide a strong incentive to do this. Microsoft's new Internet platform will rest on a mix of hardware, to doubling the capacity of the data center in 2007, and software, which means storing and processing services delivered via the Internet. Meanwhile, customers will see the new service as it extends the computing platform to the Internet through 'the net' the which would provide a way for customers to connect all Reviews their computing devices via the Internet so that personalized the data can be accessed from any of them.
From a strategic perspective, Microsoft aims to lead and licensing solutions roommates became the standard technology and sector partners. To help secure the future that utilizes the company's research labs around the world to connect to the emerging developments and the effect of rapid technological transfer into the core business. The initial focus has been in the area many Kingdoms established Microsoft with Vista and Office 2007. While this has met with limited success, has recently Launched its new X-Box game Halo 3 has, on the Contrary, lived up to expectations and, on its first day of sales, secured $ 170m in the US alone. Hits and misses are a symptom of the size of Microsoft's innovation engine. In other sectors misses the note but not here. Considering this, it is an important achievement that Microsoft continues to grow in a sustainable manner like - and this is because more and more of his hit. Scale Microsoft has not prejudiced its ability to innovate. Innovation in the arena of big companies, Microsoft is one of the few Organizations that has been proven to provide successful despite its size and diversity.

    1.3.         Organizational Structure

Satya Narayana Nadella was born August 19, 1967 is an Indian-American business executive. He is the current chief executive officer (CEO) of Microsoft. He was appointed as CEO on 4 February 2014, succeeding Steve Ballmer. Before becoming CEO of Microsoft, he was Executive Vice President of Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group, responsible for building and running the company's Computing Platforms, Developer Tools and Cloud Computing Services.
    Figure 4: Microsoft Current CEO
Since Satya Nadella took over Microsoft Company, on June 25, 2015 he has aligning new organization structure and the changes to the Senior Leadership Team. He said that Microsoft aspires to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. To do this, building the best-in-class productivity services and platforms for the mobile-first, cloud-first world is at the heart of our strategy, with three interconnected and bold ambitions, which are reinvent productivity and business processes, build the intelligent cloud platform and create more personal computing.
To better align Microsoft capabilities and, ultimately, deliver better products and services their customers love at a more rapid pace, Satya Nadella have decided to organize their engineering effort into three groups that work together to deliver on their strategy and ambitions.
Terry Myerson will lead a new team, Windows and Devices Group (WDG), enabling our vision of a more personal computing experience powered by the Windows ecosystem. We will combine the engineering efforts of our current Operating Systems Group and Microsoft Devices Group (MDG) led by Stephen Elop. This new team brings together all the engineering capability required to drive breakthrough innovations that will propel the Windows ecosystem forward. WDG will drive Windows as a service across devices of all types and build all of our Microsoft devices including Surface, HoloLens, Lumia, Surface Hub, Band and Xbox. This enables us to create new categories while generating enthusiasm and demand for Windows broadly.
Scott Guthrie will continue to lead the Cloud and Enterprise (C+E) team focused on building the intelligent cloud platform that powers any application on any device. The C+E team will also focus on building high-value infrastructure and business services that are unique to enterprise customers, such as data and analytics products, security and management offerings, and business processes. Today, we are also moving the development teams who build our Dynamics products to C+E, which will enable us to accelerate our ERP and CRM work even further and mainstream them as part of our core engineering and innovation efforts. C+E will work closely with ASG to ensure the end-to-end experience is cohesive across communications, collaboration and business processes.
Qi Lu will continue to lead the Applications and Services Group (ASG) that is focused on reinventing productivity. This group is leading the charge in building productivity services for digital work that span all devices and appeal to the people who use technology at work and in their personal lives. ASG has already made advancements in these areas, and the only change as part of today’s announcement is that the engineering efforts to build solutions for Education will move to ASG.
Changes of this nature require us to look at our leadership structure overall, and as a result a few Senior Leadership Team members will leave Microsoft at the conclusion of a transition period.
Satya Nadella counting on Microsoft Senior Leadership Team to inspire innovative products and services and lead excellent execution. Microsoft competition and their customers don’t care about their organization structure - they care about innovation. While Microsoft are distinctly aligning their engineering structure and core capabilities, their ambitions are interconnected.

    first...hahhah

Kita hari ni dah TAK BERAPA YAKIN dengan Allah..
    Buktinya?
    Setiap kali ada ustaz cakap,
"Berdoalah sungguh-sungguh. Minta bantuan dengan Allah.."
    Terus di balas,

"Doa je ustaz? Hmm.. takpe lah, minta tolong orang lain la.."

    ---

Masa susah baru cari Allah, masa senang tak pernah terfikir nak ingat Allah.
